After more than 10 successful vinyl releases, 2 full albums, over 15 remixes and countless digital EPs, George has been called "The hardest working man in Funk". His music has been praised by MixMag, I-DJ Mag and even the Godfather of Nu-Skool Breaks - Rennie Pilgrem. In fact, every respectable funk DJ on the planet includes a Basement Freaks tune in their set.

Basement Freaks has toured extensively throughout Europe - dropping funk at the renowned Glastonbury Festival, the Fabric & Cable Nightclubs in London and the Exit & Reworks Festivals. In the summer of 2011, Basement Freaks headlined the world's largest and best breakbeat festival - Shambhala - in Canada. Late 2012 the freaks hit Brazil with 2 massive performances on D.Edge Club & NaveGroove#9 Festival.

THE FUNK BROTHERS

Alexandru Sereseoan este un tanar din Cluj-Napoca, originar din Maramures, care incearca sa-si defineasca pasiunea pentru muzica prin alias-ul de RFDJ, prescurtare pentru Really Funky Deejay. Care, defapt, asa si este: Un DJ indragostit de muzica funky si tot ce aduce un vibe pozitiv pe dancefloor. Funky fiind si el in ritmul si stilul sau de mixaj.

DJ Mikeone aka Blejan Horia este un pasionat inrait si cunoscator de muzica inca din tineretile sale. Originar din Brasov, Dj Mikeone activeaza in prezent in Cluj Napoca, unde a facut  eforturi sa cucereasca scena muzicala, avand Dj-Set'uri in cluburi precum MembersClub, BoilerClub, Flying Circus, Xen, LeGeneral, ShtoCollegeBar, LaGazette, SunriseCafe, Bonjour (Sb), DreamersPub (Sb), Subsol (Bv), CasaTiff, ClujArena si ElectricCastleFestival, Atelier (Bv), Kulturcafe Sigi (Sb), Bohemian Flow (Sb), Otherside (Bucuresti).

Impreuna cei doi reprezinta proiectul The Funk Brothers. Un proiect b2b, imbinand stilurile si cunostintele muzicale pe un plan cunoscut celor doi (anume scena Ghettofunk),  precum si pe planuri mai putin cunoscute individual.
